These are good alligator lines
I bought these and cut the crocodile wires off leaving about 10 inches of wire on them to solder to my HVAC junction box. I use them several times a week for terminal connections. too bulky on my jump box. I have the other half of the wires for when I need to fix my jump box, but so far I've been using them for a few months and none have broken.
