Review on Stinger BKR200 Bug Zapper Racket by Rodney Shepherd

When used correctly. That's great!

Insect control equipment works great when you know how to use it properly. For best results, first try to get the bug to fly into the bat instead of swinging it. You will notice that there is yellow plastic on the racquet. This should be your first clue as to how to use this article. Insects are attracted to yellow. Also pay attention to the square edge, it will help corner the bug and make it fly into the bat. Note the rubberized rim, which is designed to muffle noise when you place the device next to a stationary bug. Also note the flexible case, it's used to flex the device when you place it on the surface over the bug to further encourage the bug to fly in. This feature is not found on any other zapper and works particularly well when used correctly. Of course you can hit the beetles, sometimes they get stuck in the bat, sometimes they bounce off unharmed. This is NOT a fly swatter but a lightning arrester very similar to a stationary type that can be placed outdoors. The idea is to get the bug to fly into the zapper. This particular model is well made and works well when used properly. Its design is superior to other models I have used. Also, it's not a bad idea to have "C" type batteries because although "D" type batteries last longer, I found them to last too long with these types of products. I had another model with "D" type batteries where the batteries lasted over three years and ended up leaking. I expect "C" batteries to last a year or two. This is a well-designed version of the portable bug killer with an upgraded derailleur, square end, rubber edge and flexible body. All of these features help attract bugs to the device, which is the right way to use it. I would definitely take this again over others I've bought.
