Many reviews have said this speaker has no volume. I guess what they didn't understand is that you need to hold down the + button until you hear a beep and also make sure the volume on your device is turned up. This speaker is pretty loud for its size. I've also seen complaints from people stating that it stopped working/charging after being submerged in water. Rule of thumb: Do not submerge electronics.
