I bought a new Mazda Miata MX-5 with GPS but Masad stopped providing traffic information about two weeks after buying the car a . I really want to get traffic alerts while commuting so I wanted to use my Garmin which provides traffic alerts. However, my Miata does not have a cigarette lighter socket and the Garmin traffic receiver is housed in a power cord that needs to be plugged into the cigarette lighter socket. So I bought this cigarette lighter adapter for my GPS system. So far this has worked very well. Some of the other reviews said it didn't take long so I don't know if this review will change in the future. But for now I'm very happy with it and it's great to get traffic updates.
