We bought it for the Sony A77. It fits perfectly, look for Minolta AF mounts, Md/MC mounts will not fit and will need adapters. The quality of the lens is also very good on the older Minolta. This is a very affordable lens that performs great and we've been able to get some amazing distance shots with it. f/4.5 speed doesn't require a tripod but can be a bit slow. Its compact design makes it easy to take with you on camping trips and travel, unlike a huge telephoto lens. It is more travel-friendly and fits well in a camera bag.
