These parts are an upgrade from the OEM version. If doing this installation yourself, be sure to remove the inner race from the stem after removing the old bushings. The ring may look like part of the bar itself, but they come out. Use a jigsaw with a metal blade and cut out. Also make sure you sand and clean the hole in the stem before installing the new bushings. That alone didn't fix the "death wobble" on my 2006 Dodge Ram 2500. The steering has become stiffer, the handling has become better. I had to add a steering stabilizer and dueling steering dampers and most likely I will replace the tie rod assembly as well. This "should" correct the dying hesitation.
