Our cat has feline herpes, so his eyes are very sensitive. Be careful not to use it too often (in my opinion) as it will burn. I put some on a scratch on my arm to see how it felt on an open wound and it REALLY stings. I don't use it regularly as I don't know how it affects his small eyes.
