Absolutely amazing lamp! However, I was careful with the dimmer. We haven't touched it often: just twist it all the way and hold it that way. However, the light went out after 5 days. I have tried many bulbs but the dimmer does not rise above the minimum. Got a replacement and hope it lasts. I'm just glad the return window is still open. UPDATE: Received a quick replacement and works perfectly. I received an email from the company asking if they could help and mentioning the lamp warranty. Customer service is EXCEPTIONAL! I give them 5 stars for: 1. Great design (lamp) 2. Extremely easy to assemble (it takes less than 5 minutes to assemble). 3. Exceptional Customer Service. The lamp allows you to set a focus (due to its inverted design). I bought another small one (from another company) and the results are just fine. It would be my first choice when replacing lamps in my house here!
