Need a better size

These shorts are great but the sizing is confusing. First time I bought a size 12 in blue sky and they were size M as stated on the shorts themselves. Next time I took the khakis one size up (14) and they were marked XL! I also have a pair of blue skies in size 14, they are smaller and marked L (which is what I need now). So 14 is both L and XL depending on the color? Other than that I really like the shorts and the quality, just wish the sizing was accurate and clear.

This is a very good quality material... and the perfect size.

Cons

Inappropriate size. Some customers have reported that these shorts are not the right size, which can be frustrating when trying to find the right fit.
