It is slightly thinner and stiffer than white. This is useful for my projects where you need to iterate through each 11/0 or 15/0 bead about 6-8 times. There are no problems with the needle and no effort to push the needle through. Smoke is perfect for any color other than white or cream. I have made many rings and bracelets. I love the fire line.
