Review on 🌀 Aqueon QuietFlow Filter by Gabriel Rosenberg

I'm new to aquariums but I have 2. I bought this one because I said it was "practically quiet" and thought it would be good for my 1.7g . It's actually quite loud or noticeable compared to the other one I have (Boxtech). Boxtech gets closer to the humming sound of a large fridge, while Aqueon hums more and lets in a lot of air, so it's probably suitable for a large tank in a room where the tank has a silencer closet. . I leave it running when I'm not at home, but when I'm at home I unplug it. A Boxtech is white (and green) and about the same price, flat-moulded, and comes with connecting pipes, check valve, and stone. Aqueon does not come with any accessories other than the pump. It's impossible to regulate the airflow if you don't have a valve to connect it to the hose.
