My wife loves cashmere. I gave her this Style Republic beanie to try out as we have had a lot of experience with this brand in the past. My wife likes this hat very much. The material is very soft and pleasant to the touch, it does not itch at all even when worn for a long time. My wife tested them on a couple of cold days and counted them among her warmer hats. The ribbed part is a bit small and fits snugly around the ears and forehead, but because the material is so soft it feels very cozy. There is extra space at the top, so if you want to create a "slouching" look, this hat lets you do it! We've only washed it a few times. After following the hand washing and air drying instructions, the shape stayed as good as new. This is a great winter hat. I recommend it.
