We apologize for the length of this review. Great motorcycle. BUT, I'm still shocked that without a pedal kit you don't have any brakes at all. My son is not strong enough to pedal as we live in a very hilly area but he loves to travel and has great balance. So I fixed it. Started with just the rear brake but not enough for a 4 year old due to lack of grip strength. Front and rear brakes and we're in. It can stop safely and quickly. parts required. Shimano brake lines and cables. Tektro brake lever. Tektro 900A (front) for front brake. Tektro 559 (rear) for rear brake. A 1/8 inch steel rod from your local home center and good sharp drill bits to pierce through. The front brake is a breeze. No mods required. also remain hidden under the footrests.
