Review on 🔧 Metabo TurboTec 1000 Watt Electronic Sander: Advanced Power and Precision by Fred Griffin

I've been using these for a while so I think it's time for a review. heavy for everything except working on a flat surface. Dust accumulation from the filter box. Orbit selection is a bit awkward. The cons I listed are minor, I was thinking of giving this grinder a 4.5 but to be honest I can't give it a 5. It's good and works great. The grinder is performing well and it will take a lot of effort to stop it. It has great leveling power and leaves a very good finish. Let the sand grind and just slide baby across the surface. Recommended for medium to large jobs. You may need a 5 inch filter for tighter, smaller spaces or vertical surfaces. I've listed dust extraction as pros and cons. The filter box leaves a lot to be desired. ...with some personal mods I was able to get it to work better than the factory but I still get bumps sometimes. For quick jobs I use it, but for big jobs it's just a vacuum cleaner. This does a great job of collecting. In general, everything boiled down to choosing this or Festool. I picked it up to test before buying from Festool and left it. As a reward, I received an excellent product at a very competitive price. IMHO This is the 6 inch grinder to beat on the market right now.
