I wanted something that looked good and wasn't boring like most shelves. These look sharp! You can stitch them together like I did or pull them apart as far as you like. I think they look smooth together as a whole. There are angels in it so it shows off the board graphics and it also has thick rubber protectors on the post arms that grip and prevent scratches. The holes are pre-drilled and wood screws and sheet metal dowels are also supplied for screwing. I just drilled my bolt. The only tool you need is a drill press. I will be ordering 2 more because the kids will be riding the skate park/cruises/longboards too.
