Review on πŸ”₯ Bluetooth BBQ Meat Thermometer with 4 Probes, Wireless Digital Grill Thermometer for Kitchen Meat - White by Barbara Ortega

My flesh, my problems! This thermometer solved my problem.

I have a dual probe bluetooth thermometer that I bought last year and it works great. However, as I learned how to smoke meat better and more efficiently, I found that I just didn't have enough sensors to track the meat's temperature. I mostly make pork shoulder and ribs, so I watch the meat for 10-20 hours. When I started, my dual sensor unit was fine - 1 for the ambient temperature and 1 for the single arm I had in my smoker. As I got better, I found I had to smoke a lot more meat at a time - more meat, more problems! I've tried buying the same size pork shoulder, moving the probes to check the temperature, etc. It was just a hassle. I decided on a new meat thermometer that could handle more thermometers. I picked up this Bluetooth thermometer about a month ago and it worked just as you would expect. Bluetooth connects quickly and you can switch between all temperature sensors. Actually, this device has 4 sensors, but you can actually connect 6. With this device I can now monitor 3 pork shoulders (or 1 shoulder and 2 ribs) and still monitor the ambient temperature of the smoker. I've used it before and it works as expected. One feature is missing - data display. It would be nice if this thermometer + app would at least show data for cooking time. It would be nice to see when and how long my meat stagnated during the smoking process. It's definitely not necessary, but I'm a data geek so I like this information so I can better understand what I'm cooking. And one amazing thing - the packaging could be a lot better. I was surprised to see that the sensors were simply thrown in the box. It worked fine but I thought they could have been packaged a lot neater. Overall a good product and solved my meat dilemma. Let's get back to cooking!
