Not sure about dogs
Got this for our dog who is really bad at drawing. She has a lot of energy and she wants to go, go, go. We walk her a little over a mile twice a day and she pulls all the time. The first time she used it she threw up, but it never slowed her down. Since then she's still pulling, but I'd say just enough to keep from throwing up. As a result, the collar has reduced the tension by about 5-10%. But she still pulls so hard. The collar is well made.
