Declared to work with Macbook. The second adapter I bought doesn't work. The cable is NOT transmitting. The screen is a white flashing static signal when connected to my AVR receiver. Then I found that some of them don't work with low-power HDMI sources (like Macbook, PS4, etc.). Strange. So I tried it on my Xbox, which it claims to work on. This signal was transmitted, but disappeared with the slightest movement or even when switching applications on the Xbox. For example, Xbox games worked, but when I switched to Netflix on Xbox, the signal was gone. Tried on a Toshiba laptop. It worked as above. Intermittent signal. I would definitely look for another adapter that claims to work with low power HDMI sources. I'm still searching for myself.
