Review on 🌟 StarTech.com 2U Sliding Server Rack Mount Shelf - Adjustable Depth - Vented - 50lb - Heavy Duty Universal 19” Equipment Rack Shelf (UNISLDSHF19), Black by Brian Sitton

I bought this shelf to fit in a 35.94 inch Startech 12 shelf rack. The rack can be made smaller, but other equipment didn't need it, so I left it at max. Given that the Startech website (and others) advertises this shelf as having "adjustable rails that allow the shelf to fit in cabinets or racks with mounting depths from 20 inches (510mm) to 38 inches (974mm)") , I wasn't worried. . arrived and as it turns out the maximum extension of the rails is only 30 inches. It says: Maximum installation depth: 29.29 inches [744 mm] That's one hell of a difference. Of course I could take the time to reinstall all my hardware, but if I had known this was going to happen I would have ordered something else. I'm currently awaiting a response from Startech, but will almost certainly be sending this back to Revain - for erroneous information on the manufacturer's site.
