The item was securely packed and shrink-wrapped. The installation in the Kischler cabinet went smoothly and works perfectly. Some reviews may say the product is DOA, but as has happened to me, before writing off, double check your connection for good contact. The most difficult thing is to separate the old transformer and remove its adhesive seal from the lamp. Some reviewers led me to think this article was a schematic, so I only bought one because of a blown bulb, but later ordered more for backups of other devices that are just as old and one device that never worked properly, which is now has been working as it should always have for 18 years.
