Great amp for loud oldies

I bought this amp in July 2007 and used it in my 1995 to March 2010 Buick Century. At that time the Buick was broken and I bought a pickup. I would still use an amp, but it's too big for a pickup. In almost 3 years of use I have never had any problems with it. I installed it on a piece of plywood in the trunk of a Buick and it powered two 15" 2000w subwoofers. He could easily shake the car so that you could see the windshield shaking while you were in the car. The only thing to watch out for is to make sure your car's electrical system can handle it. It once drained my battery when I heard it with the engine off and not cranking the engine often enough to keep the battery charged. One thing I did to solve this problem was put a switch in the power cord to the amp from the radio so I could turn the amp off if I wanted to listen to the radio without the engine running. This also often caused the headlights in Buicks to dim when switched on, which is easily solved by fitting a more powerful alternator or adding a capacitor.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Some cons
