I bought this on a whim, it was on purpose and I thought it was cute. I thought it might appear cheap because it wasn't that expensive - I was very wrong. The top is heavy! I see it being used indoors or outdoors, for now we have it and we're going to put a plant on it. It looks the same as in the picture. Ours has a slight dent at the top but that gives it a handmade look. I've seen it much more expensive at the garden center and even though I've only had it a day I've already had compliments. I'd comfortably load it up to 40 pounds, although I think it could handle more.
