Good preamp good for receiver and amp

When I bought this preamp there weren't any reviews but I went with it because of the great price and I also knew Stellar Labs makes it too a very expensive and high-quality preamplifier for real audiophiles. The sound of this little preamp is clean and clear. I also like that it has an on/off switch and other customization options. I also appreciate the USB connection which I will be using to transfer vinyl records to my computer. I bought this to replace a Rolls VP29 that turned off a channel

Pros
  • Hands free
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

So far so good, especially for the money.

Please note I just received this unit today and started using it immediately. Very easy to set up, no need 9V outlet as long as you plug it into your computer. I just recorded an album on Audacity and it was perfect. As for the sound, it's excellent, at least on par with my expensive vintage PS Audio preamp. There's not much more to say about that, so if you're using a receiver without a built-in phono stage, I think you'll be very happy with the Steller Labs phono stage. I'll update my review…

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks

Outstanding sound across the board!

Great phono stage sound! I tried another brand and the bass was very muted and even the mids were low. This preamp sounds perfect across the range, and I'm picky. The headphone options are good and the digital USB output for creating MP3s on your computer is great. I don't use these functions. I just wanted a good sounding phono stage with adjustable range and it does the job perfectly. Very happy with the sound and the flexibility of the devices. This is my own experience and I am in no way…

Pros
  • So far so good
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Working after repairs/modifications

This is a very nice table and just what we wanted next to the chair. The problem was that the legs of this table were crooked and uneven, resulting in one side of the table being higher than the other. Also, all the bolts that came out the top to screw into the legs were crooked and one had a weld on the side so the nut couldn't even be screwed in. It was totally wobbly and we considered sending it back. My husband decided to just modify and fix this stupid thing so we wouldn't have to deal…

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

Surprisingly expensive and durable

I bought this on a whim, it was on purpose and I thought it was cute. I thought it might appear cheap because it wasn't that expensive - I was very wrong. The top is heavy! I see it being used indoors or outdoors, for now we have it and we're going to put a plant on it. It looks the same as in the picture. Ours has a slight dent at the top but that gives it a handmade look. I've seen it much more expensive at the garden center and even though I've only had it a day I've already had compliments.

Pros
  • High marks for hold and durability from testers
Cons
