This is not resolved. There are no other products that match Toyota Highlander so I have no choice - I want this product to please me. I will update this review later. I wish the photos/videos in previously posted reviews included phones. This product is slightly more expensive ($25) and is made entirely of plastic and made in China. Due to the cost, my expectations are a bit high. First, the instructions provided are for a different product and the QR code in the instructions is too small for my QR reader to see. I will search the internet for installation instructions for a Toyota Highlander specific bracket. A lever/spoon is included, presumably for adjusting the dashboard and being able to slide the bracket under the edges of the dashboard. I can't use the mount because my Otter Box Defender is too big for the mounts. I knew this could be an issue but the answer to the question indicated that an iPhone XR with Otter Box would fit, but I understand there are multiple models of Otter Box cases. This product will NOT fit a phone with an Otter Box Defender (or similar larger profile). However, I can keep it to use the holder/mount with other compatible phone holders. It seems all phone holders (made in China) use the same ball/socket/nut assembly. More detailed considerations will follow later after I have installed the mount.
