Review on OXO Good Grips GreenSaver Carbon Filter Refills - 4 Pack by Tommy Almasri

If you are using these wonderful vegetable storages, PLEASE don't make my mistake of running the filters longer than 3 months. To my dismay, I ignored a three-month reminder from OXO. My veggies started to spoil, while when I first started using containers I was blown away by how long my fruits and veggies stayed fresh and crispy. I have all 3 sizes: OXO Good Grips GreenSaver Produce Keeper - Small OXO Good Grips GreenSaver Produce Keeper - Large (2 of them) OXO Good Grips GreenSaver Produce Keeper - Medium (I just ordered a second one) plus I use OXO Good Grips GreenSaver Crisper Filters, one pack in both drawers of my fridge. When we buy strawberries, they literally start to go in the evening. When I quickly put them unwashed in a small "berries" basket after grocery shopping, we were still eating them 2 weeks later! That means we can buy more seasonal produce on offer and eat whenever we want, rather than consuming the most perishable produce in a day or two. smaller than I've seen in stores and lasts a year. worth the money you throw away on spoiled food. Also, I used the links above to buy my own containers (but there are more expensive ones here too.) When not in use I've also experimented with storing these bags in airtight ziplocks to extend the shelf life by 3 months . That does not work. Even if there is a small reminder device for 3 months on top of the bin. I can not understand. So in 3 months I'll just put "OXO" on my calendar and keep the bins running at full speed. Another word of caution: be careful, especially with a large trash can. I hand wash it very carefully as I feel it may tear if I'm hasty. They are worth their price.
