Works great on RTX 3080 Founders Edition
To be honest I wasn't expecting that much cooling just by swapping out the thermal pad. The VRAM temperature of my RTX 3080 Founders Edition dropped from 104ยฐC to 78ยฐC after I changed the front pads to 2mm (1mm stacked). I suspect the factory pads weren't making good contact, which most likely explains the huge temperature drop. The back plate side required 1.5mm washers and to be honest I'm not sure that helped at all.
