These things are like upside down garbage. Only five (5) of the 23 holes are threaded. The remaining 18 holes are not only unthreaded, but also too small for the screws. This means that bolts cannot be used to connect blocks together except in only one configuration - large flat side to large flat side - and that's it. who needs it I'm assuming you can still use them as a square, but if you're putting them together for other purposes, forget it.
