Review on Pearhead Babyprints: Deluxe Handprint and Footprint Desk Frame with Photo Kit - Ideal for Baby Showers in Gray by Latoya Williams

I was hesitant due to conflicting reviews but decided to purchase anyway. I thought most failures were due to lack of patience or mishandling. The product works well and the prints initially look great! If you screw up, it's easy to flip it over and try again. Unfortunately, the clay takes longer than expected to dry and some shrinkage is observed. My casts took 72-90 hours to set. I probably could have installed them sooner but when I picked them up 48 hours later they were still pretty flexible. The shrinkage was the most disappointing part. As it shrank, the depth of the imprints decreased drastically. Also, the edges of the clay (where it was originally cut) were pulled together, further distorting the prints. In short, with what I know now, I could probably do better. expected after reading and following the instructions.
