When used with a Z77 Asrock Extreme 4 from 2013, the i5-3570k is overclocked to 4.05GHz (all cores) with XMP-1600 timings. I use this computer for gaming and as my main work computer. I was using the same 8GB kit (2 sticks) and wanted a little more storage so I bought a 16GB kit in February 2021. I ran memtest x86 for 12 hours with no errors and prime 95 for 3 hours. A week later I added the 8GB kit again for a total of 24GB with the same timings and a nightly run of Memtest x86. For 3 months I have not had a single breakdown.
