Works great as an update for my 2014 build

. I've been using 8GB RAM on my Core i5-4690k PC for years and have decided to upgrade the RAM. These two sticks were added which together with my existing RAM totaled 24GB. Both pairs are installed in the correct slots to take advantage of dual channel mode and everything works fine. I don't have any numbers (other than total RAM) to back this up, but it works with no issues. I typically use my computer for gaming, web browsing, and general productivity.

Pros
  • . I'm keeping my fists
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Corsair memory is very stable

When used with a Z77 Asrock Extreme 4 from 2013, the i5-3570k is overclocked to 4.05GHz (all cores) with XMP-1600 timings. I use this computer for gaming and as my main work computer. I was using the same 8GB kit (2 sticks) and wanted a little more storage so I bought a 16GB kit in February 2021. I ran memtest x86 for 12 hours with no errors and prime 95 for 3 hours. A week later I added the 8GB kit again for a total of 24GB with the same timings and a nightly run of Memtest x86. For 3 months I

Works as expected using two of these 32GB only

Works as expected using two of these only 32GB on a Z68. Great product but Corsair customer support is so-so. My original RAM set failed so I contacted customer service for a warranty replacement. They went on for weeks claiming they had no stock and insisting on a $40 refund which is false. In the end, after several iterations, they finally agreed to send a replacement kit. I ended up selling it and buying it from Revain.

Now the computer works like new

I don't know why I waited so long for this. I have a PC with 8GB RAM (2 x 4GB) which was quite a lot when I bought it. It was a custom PC that was new in 2012. I recently added a new SSD (the original died shortly after installation), a new graphics card and doubled the RAM. For a low-profile computer to fit in my entertainment system closet, this is a beast. I would have to spend over $2,000 on a new computer to match the performance of this upgraded computer. This is my media center/gaming…

Pros
  • I always liked it
Cons
  • Infinitely slow

Memory with good performance

Upgrade/replacement of 8GB Ballistix Sport pair on Z87 Shuttle XPC/i7-4xxx Haswell Build 2016, PC mainly used as main desktop, not for gaming. Installed these paired 16GB CL9 Vengeance modules in dual-channel mode. POST OK, worked fine and passed the Win10 memory diagnostic test. Reset BIOS memory from Auto to XMP/1600MHz and run <User Benchmark>. Results 60.7% or good (63% excellent). No problems with the height or width of the heatsink in this small PC.

Pros
  • Solid design
Cons
  • Hard to say

Making the Most of the Internals

I bought this to get the most out of my Z97 based system's RAM. I've used other brands of 16GB sticks since I built it, but now I've gotten to a point where I really needed more. Since the old RAM I had is no longer manufactured, these flash drives were made to the specs of the old RAM. They work fantastic and there have been no compatibility issues mixing the two sets of RAM. Right now I'm using my motherboard's maximum capacity of 32GB, which should be enough for my needs for another 5 years.

Pros
  • Pleasing
Cons
  • Almost OK

AM3+ perfect for computers and accessories

Added another 16GB kit to my AM3+ board (ga990fxa ud3), FOR a total of 32GB. With a run through the BIOS, set 1600 MHz and boot, no problem. I also use a 10GB RamDisk, leaving 22GB for the system. I didn't have to remove my Phanteks cooler to fit this LP RAM. Right fan only. Large gap under the large tower cooler. If you are concerned about tappet play, please purchase this kit (or 2). You'll find that many QVLs don't list very many types of jack kits. They say: Due to the large number of RAM…

Pros
  • Suitable for many
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Good working electronics

Install it, run memtest86 and it passes. I am satisfied with this brand more than others. I need stability and reliability, not everything at breakneck speed. I guess some people like unstable computers? That's great memory. I've built many, many computers for customers and I can say with confidence that Corsair makes good RAM.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • No machine
