I bought this cushion to replace my sofa cushion after my daughter's friend had an accident on our sofa. I couldn't get rid of the smell of urine so I decided to replace the pillow. Luckily the sofa was 10 years old so I feel if I replaced the cushion and vacuumed it then the money wasn't wasted. I bought this size after measuring my sofa but when I received it the cushion was too big so I cut a 4x4 rectangular piece off the end with an electric knife. Once I put it in the sofa cushion cover it worked great. The pillow is quite hard but very comfortable. If something happens I know I can order another one and replace it for a fraction of the cost of buying a new sofa. It was a great way to keep my sofa for another 10 years.
