I should have said there was a problem with this product. At first it worked as described, but later I found out that my machine had a problem caused by this product. My car (Chevy Malibu 2012) had an engine light on and I took it to the shop. They made a diagnosis, changed the oil, filters, etc., they took a lot for that. However, after a short time the engine light came on again. So I had to bring my car back to them. They couldn't figure out the problem. Then I drove to another workshop. At first they couldn't identify ours either, but they said that this product might cause a problem. I was surprised because I thought that ODBLink only **reads** signals from the vehicle and does not transmit signals to the vehicle. However, I follow the advice of the service technician and remove ODBLink. And the engine lump will never show up again. Also when I reinstalled it the light came back on which means that this product indeed caused the problem. I was so frustrated that I paid a lot of unnecessary repair/maintenance fees to repair shops.
