Review on 1PZ HX3 K01 Ignition Switch Fourtrax by Jason Chaplain

On the Honda 93 TRX300FW the wire colors for the switch are RED-BLACK and PINK-Pink_White. The switch should have two contacts and according to the book both contacts should be in the closed position when the key is on. What I got was the wrong switch. first wire colors, where RED-BLACK and Red_Black-Orange. When the key is in the "ON" position, RED-BLACK are closed and Red_Black-Orange are open. and when the switch is in the "OFF" position, RED-BLACK is open and Red_Black-Orange is closed. If you set this to 93 the unit will work but the extra power plug and oil alarm will not work. It also means that the battery will be drained as the alarm unit will be active when the key is off. incorrect switch for registered honda.
