I was so amazed at how powerful and heavy these lights are! When I ordered these I knew I wasn't going to use the USB, but it easily plugs into the adapter and into my wall. I also thought that I probably wouldn't use the remote because I don't really like "gadgets" but the remote is very handy and actually essential to access all the different settings. I use string lights on my kitchen window year round and buy a lot of different bulbs (because they don't usually last long) but these just seem 'better' so I'll buy another set before they sell out which they will be because they are so great. So many colors and 4 fun settings plus 4 different speeds. Oh, I'll have lots of fun with them in the coming dark season! I'll turn them off slowly and fading at night, and in the evening and morning when I get up I'll make them fast and asynchronous. Well done who made them! You will not regret this purchase.
