Review on Omnigrid 15X15 Grid Mat 15 by Angela Rodriguez

I use this 15" x 15" ruler all the time. I broke my old one and immediately replaced it. This is one of the most used rulers in my sewing workshop. What I like best is that it doesn't have an extra 1/2 inch seam allowances. Adding an extra half inch was a bad idea and now most rulers add it. Manufacturers feel that quilters need help adding half an inch to their measurements. We are not. more complex and error-prone. You should constantly check that you haven't rotated your ruler. Twist it around and around. all this rotation is tiring and annoying. This 15 inch ruler is one of the few rulers on the market that doesn't try to help me with my math by making my ruler difficult to use. I like it! You will probably use it often. I use it to trim things and I use it in combination with my 8x24 inch ruler to trim and cut strips. Yes, some of my rulers are hardly used, but I use this 15x15 square all the time. A few words about shipping: I was concerned that this large ruler would break in transit. BUT Hancock taped these big cardboard supports to either side of the ruler. Obviously someone has thought about how to send this successfully and the plan worked out great! So, kudos to the shipping companies, GOOD FELLOWS!
