Not quite perfect. There's a learning curve to getting the phone in and out of the mount with one hand. If you have side buttons like power or volume, you might get frustrated if you accidentally press them while using the mount. The suction cup is huge and sticks to the windshield better than an industrial vacuum. I've never had a mount fail. The mount was also narrow enough and flexible enough to mount my phone as a DVR. That was the main reason I bought this mount as it offers all the convenience of professional use with your existing equipment. I made a great video of the track just with my phone.
