Imperfect "waterproof " design

If you want an inexpensive product with ample storage space and are comfortable with things getting wet and the front and outer creases tearing, buy because you'll be moderately satisfied . Otherwise, if you need a truly waterproof roof charging solution, look elsewhere. There is an absurd flaw in the design of the product and they are terrible at it. I used this product on our recent Father's Day weekend trip. We heard a lot of popping noises on the way to our destination, although we carefully fastened all the straps and secured the side flaps with Velcro as instructed. We stopped but didn't see anything bad and drove on. Eventually the clapping just stopped, so we forgot about it. Until we got to our destination and saw that the front valve had ruptured. Upon closer inspection, we noticed that this flap doesn't have Velcro like the side flaps. We didn't think it would be a big hurdle because the material is very strong. At this point we wanted to keep the product as it was just a cracked valve anyway. That was until we returned home from our trip to find the stuff in the front of the bag was completely soaked! After taking everything out of the bag, we took a closer look at the bag and noticed that the front flap, which doesn't have velcro or any other way to prevent it from bursting all over the place, hides a seam that runs across the entire front of the bag runs pocket! If it was the back you would be fine, but the front of the bag is the most receptive to the elements! Why aren't the top, front and bottom just one long piece sewn on the sides?!? Why at least the flaps that protect the most vulnerable part of the bag don't have velcro like the rest of the flaps?

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product
