Bought to see if it works and also for the price. I have a 7-station mini lathe. I'm new to this field so I have no pasting experience. All I know is the size I need and go from there. I've tried sharpening a small piece of aluminum, stainless steel, and cold rolled. Well as soon as I lit it everything started rattling like crazy which made me wonder if my car was in trouble as I had just swapped out the bearings for tapered ones. Tried all materials, different speeds/feeds and small/large depth cuts with the same result. Then I tried the normal inserts I use and the problem was gone. Not sure if it was a bad set as I tried 2 stakes. Maybe my car is too small, but in any case they didn't fit me. Luckily I ordered another insert from another seller for an easy return. Let's see how it goes. I would have given less stars but since the shipping/returns process is easy that's the only reason for an extra star. Hope this helps and if there is a better suggestion one can get. It would be greatly appreciated.
