The mats were fitted over fabric mats, they have a little play as they fit snugly. Doesn't look like other photos I've seen with gaps in the back of the front mats. You could add velcro to the bottom of the mat but it wasn't necessary as they fit snugly. As all buyers have mentioned they are bent and rolled and what is not in the shipping box if you leave them flat. outside for a day under the warm sun and spreading them out regularly you will have compliant rugs, like in the photo. Only a few creases remained on the passenger mat when I installed them, this seems to be improving over time. Overall I found the best fit and look after reading reviews of all other comparable mats. They seem great for the winter months and are keeping the fabric rugs as good as new.
