I was troubleshooting a shower faucet with water that was too hot/cold. It turned out that the mixing valve was to blame for this problem, so I ordered a new one. You simply turn off the water in your home, drain the lines, remove the bezel, and then unscrew the cartridge to access this device. It is strongly recommended to lubricate the rubber seals with silicone grease. Now reverse the installation process.
