Works exactly as described

This device works exactly as advertised. The added benefit of broadcasting 4K without having to disconnect cables is amazing! Of course you can't record in 4K, but you can just press the button and set the device to 1080p and then you can record. I didn't notice any display lag when recording. Before that, I connected a Kinivo HDMI switch to the input side, so that I can now record the switcher, the Xbox or the PC (screen 2) without changing cables. The RGB is good and it has a mirror finish on top. The only downside I can think of is that the device is pretty light and made out of plastic. It doesn't look like it's going to break, so I don't really care. Also, it requires 2 USB ports, one of which is at least USB 3.0 (3.1 or 3.2 should work fine as the USB group hates their customers when they keep renaming the same ports!). The price ranges from $99 to $129 a lot! DSLR or similar with HDMI output.

  • Fingers crossed
Cons
