Works exactly as described

This device works exactly as advertised. The added benefit of broadcasting 4K without having to disconnect cables is amazing! Of course you can't record in 4K, but you can just press the button and set the device to 1080p and then you can record. I didn't notice any display lag when recording. Before that, I connected a Kinivo HDMI switch to the input side, so that I can now record the switcher, the Xbox or the PC (screen 2) without changing cables. The RGB is good and it has a mirror finish on

Some pluses, some minuses

Initially I used a laptop with MSI 1060 and the video often freezes. I now have a 3070 on my computer and the video is stable about 90% of the time. For some reason I am greeted with a black screen when loading OBS. I usually have to delete and then restore all instances of the XR1 (video capture device) in order for my PS4 to be visible. It's annoying, but with a decent rig it's fine. The audio is terrible. Easy and uncomplicated. My budget Nubwo headset can reach an awkward volume when…

So I'm streaming on Twitch. I have used a PC for many years. I recently wanted to try to improve the quality of my streams and redesigned a lot of my gear to achieve my goal.
