I bought this for my Windows 10 desktop on a whim. I installed it on my Arch Linux workstation just to see what happens and it works perfectly without any tweaking. Even better, I'm using AUR's modified Bluetooth package for pulsed audio, which adds aptx. Guess what? AptX HD allows me to play podcasts and music from my phone on my workstation! Basically almost lossless audio with low latency over WiFi from my phone (Moto Z2 Force). I strongly recommend all Linux users to extend their desktops with Bluetooth.
