This device works as advertised. Installation was quick, the remote display works well. Now for the cons of this product. No fixed IP address can be determined for this device. You'll need to give it a static IP address via DHCP if you want to know where it's located. This module doesn't give you the ability to only work locally and opens holes in your firewall that they don't document, it's basically a black box that you have to trust, it's not a security risk. You're forced to use the SLING app if you want to use the DVR's built-in features, and for apps during installation it's either one or the other, not both. If you select the AirTV app, it is not a DVR and you will need to set it up again using the SLING app. After using the USB hard drive for the DVR functions of the application, no matter where you run the SLING application, you will be annoyed by a pop-up saying that the hard drive is available for the DVR functions and You cannot turn off this popup window after the first display. Like I said, annoying. You cannot reach technical support via email. So unless you're a smart MOUNTAIN person, you won't get phone support. I mentioned that you can sign in to the same account you're using (Android, FireTV, Roku) from a desktop browser, but you can't view your AirTV using a web browser, which is also annoying.
