I am very, very impressed! I figured it would be decent travel chess - something to hide away for a trip or a quick game with a friend. While it certainly could be, this is a well made, attractive and carefully packaged set that I am currently planning to display somewhere in my apartment! Of course, there are no hand carvings in wood, stone or glass in this price range. But the folding case, wood grain, and subtle marbling in the classic, clean-molded plastic details make this set a feast for the eyes. Also, everything has weight. This is NOT cheap chess. This is an inexpensive model with a good design that I enjoy using with my gaming friends and showing off to friends who don't!
