I am a redhead and very light complected. I'm also prone to skin cancer - I've had 16 melanoma excised. This suit gives me confidence when I go out into the sun. I like that it has sewn-in bra cups. I did order a size up. I'm usually a medium in everything I wear (5'7" 140 lbs.), but I decided on a large because of other reviews and I loved the fit. It was not too loose and the shorts don't ride up.
