This microscope is great but be aware that it costs less than $100. I use it to photograph medical marijuana that has been prescribed to me. Not only is it fun, but it also helps check my medication for unwanted additives (mold, bugs, hair, etc.). Its main disadvantage is that everything that is not directly centered gets a very strong bokeh effect (out of focus). At maximum magnification, a slight pink cast appears on the outside of the image. But then again, this is a $90 USB scope, not an elite scope. You get what you pay for and that's not bad value.
