Review on Trailer Aid Tandem Changing Change Trailers Tires & Wheels in Accessories & Parts by Doug Darling

Not good enough for tools and equipment

Thought this would be the answer to my problem getting under a trailer, using a bottle jack to lift the axle of a flat tire and then replacing it. . I was wrong. Firstly the Trailer-Aid arrived quickly, looked exactly like the picture and looked very strong and durable. It is light yellow in color and has a 1 inch extension at the top as shown in the picture. When I used it, Trailer_Aid worked exactly as described in the video, except it didn't raise the trailer's front wheel high enough to lift the rear wheel off the ground. If the rear wheel was deflated, the axle would lift enough to remove the wheel but not enough to mount the spare wheel. This item can work on asphalt or concrete as stated. I used it on rough ground with the front wheel up. Help is still under the tire and the bottle jack lifts the tire I needed to change off the ground. Trailer-Aid really made the whole process easier by raising the tire just enough for me to get under the trailer and use the bottle jack. I'll try again when I can put the trailer on level pavement. I may need to add another inch of rubber to the extension. It's still better than dragging the jack through the mud. Unfortunately, with the few blocks of wood I have, I could do the same job and save on costs. I've also tried registering Trailer-Aid online but can't access the website to do so. When all is said and done I would not recommend this to anyone. Get a 2"X12"X10' board, cut it into pieces as described in several YouTube videos, use it and save the price of this item.
