Works great - tools and gear

Received today and did a test run. At least with our TT, the Forest River Flagstaff Microlite, it worked perfectly. What would be a "flat tire" was 5 inches off the ground. Perfect. Now you don't have to worry about where to put the bottle jack when the opportunity arises. The jack is very well made and ready for almost all heavy-duty applications.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Some bugs

It works. for tire repair tools

In over 50 years of traveling we have had many flat spots on our trailers. Changing a tire has always been a problem, especially in hot weather on a busy highway. We started out using a bottle jack, then progressed to stacked leveling blocks, and finally, as we got older, to AAA. We now have Airstream, and hacking is a bit of a hassle for an up-and-coming AAA service. The old tires had to be changed before the next trip. No AAA like we had in our driveway. Putting a trailer on leveling blocks…

It doesn't work on my RV 27' Salam trailer but works now

Your mileage may vary but for me it was a waste of money. It doesn't work on my trailer. I have a 27ft Salam bogie and the wheel with no ramp is still on the ground. So I guess I have to go to a bottle jack to do what I want. I wish I could return it but hey I tried to use it and it says there is no return. Okay, maybe I can find someone nearby who can use it. UPDATE #1 It's working for me now. I put a 2x6 piece underneath. I also angled the front of the 2x6 to make it easier to go up and down.

Works perfectly. with some help!

I have a Keystone Passport Elite 23RB Motorhome. The trailer has a splayed tandem axle with leaf springs and 15 inch wheels. How I use it: I've found that on a perfectly flat road, the only way I can access both wheels is via the ramp. For the rear wheels, I pull forward onto the ramp and the rear wheel lifts just enough to spin freely. As for the fronts, I'm back on the ramp. Same result, enough lifting. In any case, if there is a "level" then the ramp will not provide enough lift to go both…

  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Repair

This product is terrible. It doesn't work as advertised as it doesn't allow enough clearance to change a full size caravan tire (we ended up using a conventional jack). It also broke when the full weight of the trailer was rolled onto it for the second time. The trailer to be replaced weighs only 8,900 pounds fully loaded and the product is rated at 15,000 pounds. It was found to support a trailer on initial testing, but we were a bit concerned about the tire change clearance (very small, but…

Not good enough for tools and equipment

Thought this would be the answer to my problem getting under a trailer, using a bottle jack to lift the axle of a flat tire and then replacing it. . I was wrong. Firstly the Trailer-Aid arrived quickly, looked exactly like the picture and looked very strong and durable. It is light yellow in color and has a 1 inch extension at the top as shown in the picture. When I used it, Trailer_Aid worked exactly as described in the video, except it didn't raise the trailer's front wheel high enough to…
