Review on Trailer Aid Tandem Changing Change Trailers Tires & Wheels in Accessories & Parts by Ryan Arthur

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Terrible product - does not work as advertised and not enough time to return.

This product is terrible. It doesn't work as advertised as it doesn't allow enough clearance to change a full size caravan tire (we ended up using a conventional jack). It also broke when the full weight of the trailer was rolled onto it for the second time. The trailer to be replaced weighs only 8,900 pounds fully loaded and the product is rated at 15,000 pounds. It was found to support a trailer on initial testing, but we were a bit concerned about the tire change clearance (very small, but it turned out to be adequate). I wouldn't buy this product for the build quality, but I really don't appreciate the ads that it offers extra clearance to replace a full size tire when it actually doesn't. I requested a replacement due to a product malfunction and Revain referred the return/exchange policy which states that we only have 30 days to return or exchange the product. In most cases I find this is more than enough time to resolve a product issue, but the trailer's tires don't go flat on every trip. In this case it means I didn't pay the money, I don't want a solution and I'm very disappointed.
